16+ Entry
Boys and girls are invited to apply to join the College post-GCSE at 16+. Prospective pupils must expect to gain at least five GCSE's at grade C or above, including English and Mathematics.
Entry in September 2013
For information on the availability of places for September 2013, or for scholarship applications for September 2013, please contact the Registrar as soon as possible.
For candidates who wish to apply for an Academic Scholarship, please note that the Scholarship Morning will be held in March. Applications must be received by 21st February 2013. Prospective scholars will be anticipating a minimum of 5 A*-A grades at GCSE.
Scholarships are also available for Music, Art and Sport. Please read the Scholarship Information carefully before returning the Scholarship Application Form.
Entry in September 2014
For entry in September 2014, registered pupils should complete the Application Form and return it to the Admissions Department with a CV and covering letter by the end of November 2013 . Pupils who are not yet registered must also complete the Registration Form and return it to the College with the non-refundable registration fee of £75 as soon as possible. Prospective pupils will be invited for interview in early November 2013, prior to this interview a reference will be sought from their current school.

Boys
Boys joining Shiplake in the Sixth Form become members of one of the day or boarding houses in Year 12. In Year 13 they progress to College House, our university-style house.
Girls
All our Sixth Form girls are members of Gilson House.
