Open Days

Open Mornings are held at regular intervals on Saturday mornings during term-time. They are particularly appropriate for those enquiring two or more years ahead of entry as well as for parents closer to the entry point who would like a less formal visit in the first instance.

Attendance is by advance appointment and parents can expect a short talk by the Headmaster and other senior members of staff. Tours of the school with a current pupil are arranged and the morning will end with an opportunity to talk informally with the Headmaster and senior staff members over refreshments.

Individual Appointments

For those who have registered for entry or who are within two years’ of entry, a weekday appointment may be made with the Registrar for a tour of the school followed by a meeting with the Headmaster.

At Shiplake, all boys are interviewed by the Headmaster prior to the offer of a place being made. This interview visit will be arranged as part of the admissions process.
