The Old Viking Society (OVS) exists to maintain and develop the links between the College, our alumni and former staff. All former staff and pupils automatically become members of the OVS.
Friendships forged at school are some of the strongest friendships of your lifetime and through the OVS we endeavour to stay in contact with the wider Shiplake family; to help you reconnect with people you may have lost contact with and to keep you in touch with the College.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch should there be anything with which the society may be able to assist.
The OVS is active, welcoming and inclusive - reunions, dinners, sports fixtures and social events are regularly hosted at the College and further afield. These include the OVS Touch Rugby and Beer Festival which takes place in September and each December, Old Vikings from across the decades gather in a London hostelry for a seasonal reunion.
We are enormously grateful for the generosity of our Old Vikings, many of them give up their time to offer university or careers advice, others are able to offer internships and work experience or can help find accommodation - a true network of talent and knowledge! If you are able to offer any support, please get in touch.
Current pupils also enjoy meeting Old Vikings when they return to school to give careers advice, attend reunions or simply to visit the ‘old’ College again.
