Following the recent announcement of the new Prefect team for the 2026–27 academic year, we are delighted to share the names of the pupils who will serve as Chapel Wardens during the coming year.
The Chapel Warden team plays an important role in the spiritual and pastoral life of Shiplake College. Working closely with the Chaplain, Chapel Wardens assist in the organisation and delivery of Chapel services throughout the year, including supporting readings, music and encouraging participation from across the College community. Alongside this, they are chosen for their kindness, empathy and approachability, offering pastoral care and support within their houses. As with the Prefect selection, this year’s Student Leadership application process invited Year 12 pupils to apply for a leadership role within the School. The process was highly competitive and demonstrated the strong commitment our pupils have to serving the community.
We are pleased to announce that Alliyah Hall has been appointed Head Chapel Warden, with Oscar Tooley serving as Deputy Head Chapel Warden. They will lead and be supported by a dedicated team of Chapel Wardens across the houses.
