On Saturday 17 March 2018, Shiplake College will open its doors to Olympic Gold Medallists (and former pupils) Will Satch MBE and Ben Hunt-Davis MBE, to join over 200 current and former parents and pupils, staff and friends of the College for the ‘It’s More Than A Boathouse’ Dinner!
The purpose of the event is to raise funds for a new Boathouse and Multi-Activity Centre. The evening will include a meal, a question and answer session with our guest speakers, led by BBC Sports Presenter (and former pupil) James Burridge.
There will also be a live and silent auction, led by TV Presenter (and former pupil) Jonty Hearnden. These auction lots are already available for online bidding at www.auctionofpromises.com. This allows those who are unable to make the dinner to bid on items in advance of the evening.
Please note that the auctions end at the event itself so if you are currently the highest bidder on an item this does not guarantee you winning the auction lot. Online bids close at 6.00pm on Saturday 17 March.
