The majority of pupils join Shiplake in Year 7 (11+), Year 9 (13+) or Year 12 (16+) but occasionally places are available in other year groups. Parents who are interested in applying for a place at Shiplake should complete our online Registration Form and pay the £100 registration fee (a PayPal payment may be made as part of the online process).
Shiplake College does not select on the grounds of academic ability alone. Applications are welcome from all pupils who have the potential to make the most of the wealth of opportunities that Shiplake can offer. Shiplake College’s aim is to encourage applications from a diverse range of backgrounds. This enriches our community and is vital in preparing our pupils for the modern world.

Meet the Team
Our friendly admissions team are on hand to guide you throughout the process of joining Shiplake College. They will welcome you on open mornings and individual visits, and be your port of call should any queries or questions arise.

Mrs Hayley Young, Assistant Registrar, joined the team in November 2014. Hayley lives locally and was already familiar with the College ethos prior to joining the admissions office. She is responsible for leading the College's marketing, admissions, fundraising and alumni relations activities. Katherine grew up in Henley and has long been a member of Henley Hockey Club.
