On Monday 12 January, we held our first whole-school assembly of the Spring Term, welcoming staff and students back after the break. During the assembly, we celebrated pupils who have shown the greatest improvement in their academic performance.
Just before the Christmas holidays, students received their Progress Review 2. In this assembly, we also recognised those who made the most significant improvement in their Engagement with Learning scores over the autumn term.
Speaking in assembly, Deputy Head (Academic) Mr Paul Jones said:
“As we always make clear, this category has nothing to do with your grades or academic potential and every one of you has the potential to score highly in this category.”
