The annual GCSE and A Level Art and Photography Exhibition took place on Saturday 15 June, in the Great Hall.
The outstanding work of Year 11 and Year 13 Art and Photography students was showcased to friends and family as well as members of the local community. The display included final pieces, but is only a small part of their overall coursework and exam projects, which were also supported by individual’s portfolios of work.
Keli Thomas, teacher of A Level Art said: “We are incredibly proud of all the pupils’ achievements and it was wonderful to celebrate such a diverse range of work. The exhibition was a brilliant success and we had lots of positive comments about the high standard of the work this year. We were delighted to welcome siblings and grandparents to view the work as well.”
The tradition of the customised rosettes for the ‘best in show’ were judged and awarded by the Headmaster, Deputy Head Pastoral and Deputy Head Academic. The following students who received a rosette were:
