Shiplake College has evolved and moved forward since its founding in 1959 but many principles remain the same. We aim to admit a well-balanced range of pupils with a variety of skills and talents, who can make the most of the many opportunities we offer them.

We ensure that every pupil is challenged and supported according to their need and ability. We provide an education that is tailored to the individual and we do this through inspirational multi-sensory teaching, delivered in small classes where our teachers can know and understand each pupil's method of learning.
