The annual OVS London Reunion took place on Thursday 30 November at The Lamb Inn, Leadenhall Market.
The room was packed and it was a lively evening, with many OVs coming along after more informal lunch-time reunions of their own!
There was a brief interlude in the revelries for the Old Viking Chairman, Ben Fitzwilliams, to welcome everyone to the event and also to run through the OVS AGM Agenda. Committee members were re-elected, the accounts for the year were approved and this was followed by Mr Davies’ Headmaster's Report; after summarising the many achievements of the College over the past year, the news that ‘…Shiplake College is already a great school but heading for greater things…’ was met with a resounding cheer.
It was great to see so many Old Vikings catching up with old friends and reminiscing about their school days – some of the tales from a 1963 leaver were amazing!
